ASSOCIATE ASIAN BODYWORKER [200-hours] This program is designed to give currently certified and/or licensed therapist a specialized area focus in their profession. It is ideal for therapists and students looking to deepen their understandings and manual skills in the Eastern therapies and philosophies of healing. Approved by the AOBTA (American Organization for Body Therapies of Asia), this program will fulfill your continuing education requirements for most states, and give you a more versatile practice to share with your clients and grow with for years to come. Our instructors are highly qualified veterans in practice and teaching. Participation in the Asian Bodywork Clinic will build your confidence in these therapeutic arts, and upon completion you are qualified to gain Practitioner level membership to the AOBTA, a highly recognized credential among the therapeutic massage and bodywork profession. |

*This program is open to newly enrolled massage therapy students, and inquiry should be made to NAMTI for exact prerequisite information.
Graduates of the 840-hour Massage Practitioner’s Program will have completed all requirements of either Asian Bodywork Program offered at NAMTI, with the following exceptions below. These are the additional hours necessary to complete all requirements for acceptance to AOBTA (American Organization for Body Therapies of Asia) membership. 200-hour Associate Level Membership: AOBTA Certified
*There is no additional cost to complete the remainder of necessary clinical requirements in order to complete this achievement. 500-hour Practitioner Level Membership: AOBTA Certified Cost: $1,895 [Plus required texts]
*This is also referred to the Advanced Asian Bodywork elective if you are enrolled in the Massage Practitioner’s Program, giving students the option to achieve a 1000-hour Professional Bodywork Therapist certification at NAMTI.
