Lara Michelle LMT, NCTMB Lara was inspired to study massage therapy in 1999, after years of experiencing injuries and postural imbalances. Through her quest for balance and harmony within her own body, she came to dedicate her life to learning and healing, as well as helping others. During this healing and learning process, she realized that simply massaging muscles was not enough. The missing piece is to look beyond the symptoms to find the cause. She has specialized in structural bodywork, an approach that looks at the whole body to find the source of dysfunction, including studies with leaders in the field, such as John Barnes and Hugh Gilbert. Lara has worked in a variety of occupational settings, including private practice, spas, therapy centers, hotels, and chiropractic offices in California, Arizona, and Europe
