| Yoga Practice |
Within this daily ritual, you will learn to embody as well as teach vinyasa thru a guided practice which will take you deeper into your teaching and deeper into yourself. Self-growth and development is an integral component of the program and developing your own yoga practice is essential to becoming a yoga instructor. We will focus on two primary flows and a variety of postures (asanas) while developing instructional capabilities of each student. The asanas will later be analyzed in more detail within the Posture Clinic. |

| Posture Clinic |
| Posture Clinic will break down and analyze each asana in order to learn the benefits and contraindications. Focus will be given to analytical training in how to teach and practice the techniques. This course will build your confidence in understanding the intimacies of the postures as well as your ability to safely and effectively teach these practices. |

| Anatomy & Physiology |
Anatomy and Physiology offers an exciting and interactive examination into the structure and function of the human body. Lessons are focused around the understanding of concepts that will allow students to gain insight into the fascinating inner-workings of the human body. Healthy movement patterns will be analyzed and time will be spent applying A&P principles to yoga practice. An emphasis will be placed on the energetic anatomy and physiology as well as the physical. While investigating the chakras and nadis, a highlight of this course will include the competency an introduction to Energetic Medicine and student will receive Reiki Level I training and atunement. This lends to the therapeutic emphasis of our program, rounding your skills as a teacher and healer. |

| Yoga Teacher Methodology |
| This course includes principles of demonstration, observation, assisting/correcting, instruction, teaching styles, qualities of a teacher and the students process of learning. Time will be spent focusing on developing your teaching skills and understanding of the teaching process. |

To be a successful professional in today's world requires certain basic knowledge and skills. This course provides excellent interactive instruction about the many facets of the yoga business. These classes teach the practical side of owning and running a small business, as well as the business aspects of teaching yoga. This course proves to be invaluable to our student teachers. |

| Yoga Philosophy & Lifestyle |
| As a yoga practitioner and teacher, there is an opportunity to indulge in the practices and philosophies both within the classroom, on the mat, and throughout your life in all arenas. We will take an in depth look at the history and philosophies of the origins of yoga, and consider how to apply these to your daily life altogether. You will learn what it means to live yoga as a practice inside and outside of the classroom, and experience a truly transformational process that provides the ongoing ability to learn, grow, and refine your own energies. |

| Ethics for Yoga Teachers |
Integrated into the Sedona Yoga Teacher Training, this course looks at the origins and current settings of the yoga practice and business. Discussions are held regarding proper etiquette to be practiced among professional yoga instructors, and ethics and respect of clientele are analyzed. Students will take away from this course the insight and motivation to explore the many possibilities and responsibilities yoga instructors have in the profession. |

| Yoga Practicum |
| This part of the program gives each student real-life practical application to teach the priniciples and asanas that we learn. It includes practice teaching, receiving feedback, observing others teaching and giving feedback. This will serve to build confidence as you are both assisting an instructor in teaching class, as well as teaching the class yourself. |

| Thai-Yoga Massage |
Rounding out this programs influence for a therapeutic focus, students will learn techniques for initiating energy movement through the body. Thai meridians, main energy lines, pressure points and techniques for facilitating the body's physical, psychological, and spiritual balance are presented. This course introduces the students to the system of Thai Massage, its basic moves, and how the practitioner smoothly transitions from one technique to the next. Further study is available. |

| Soni has been immersed in Eastern and yogic philosophy since childhood through her Indian lineage. She received extensive training from several top yoga teachers while living on an exclusive retreat center in Costa Rica and has been practicing and teaching for 14 years. Soni's emphasis in teaching is geared toward guiding her students into the internal experience of awakening to the true essence of yoga: union and liberation. Soni is the founder of Devi Yoga studio since 2001 which has been voted Best Yoga in Sedona & The Village of Oak Creek years 2005 - 2008. |

| Pamela Joy PhD, LMT, NCTMB, RYT-500 |
| Pam received a PhD in Biological Anthropology from the University of Kansas, and was a tenured Professor at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio until 1995, when she left academics to become a certified Hellerwork Structural Integration Practitioner, and began to study CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute. In 1997, she became a certified yoga therapist, and was co-owner and manager of Integrative Yoga Therapy training programs for yoga therapists until 2007. Today, she teaches Structural Integration, CranioSacral Therapy and courses in the Yoga Teacher Training at NAMTI Sedona and Prescott Campus. Pam continues to assist at Upledger CST workshops around the country. She is certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), and is also a registered yoga teacher (RYT) and certified yoga therapist. |

| Kelly Russ is a master energy tracker and founder of Conscious Realm. She has been a student and teacher of Yoga for over 10 years. Trained at the Yoga college of India, she is dedicated to spiritual enlightenment through the path of practice. As a licensed Massage therapist trained at the Northern Arizona massage therapy Institute, she believes that the human body is the key to unlocking personal limitations and tapping into the divine. She is familiar with a multitude of disciplines including thai massage and myofascial release. Kelly's passion is creating space for others to actualize their full potential in life though the Physical medium. Kelly has spent the past 5 years developing a system of relieving the stress and tension in the body. This unique approach gives each client access to the core of their perceptions and exponentially increases their capacity for greatness in all areas of their life. |
